SPECIAL PROCESSING
Special
Processing is a request that multiple documents delivered to the Department of
State on the same day be
filed in a certain order (e.g. file first, file second). This request is
completed for an additional fee of $70, using DSCB:15-153(a)(17)
- Special Processing Form. The Special Processing form must be completed
and submitted with each group of documents. The Special Processing fee is in
addition to filing fees and expedited service fees. Without Special
Processing, documents delivered to the Department on the same day will be
separated and may not be filed in the desired order, resulting in the rejection
of all documents. If one of the documents submitted using Special Processing is
not accepted for filing, the documents to be filed after the rejected document
will also be rejected.
