Board Member Information:  

The State Board of Veterinary Medicine consists of the Commissioner of Professional and Occupational Affairs, two members representing the public, five veterinarians licensed and who have been practicing veterinary medicine in this Commonwealth for five years preceding their appointment, and one veterinary technician licensed to practice in this Commonwealth. All professional and public members are appointed by the Governor with the advise and consent of a majority of the members elected to the Senate.
