Authorization to Administer Injectables
Pennsylvania Licensure Requirements
Pharmacists can apply for the authorization to administer injectable medications, biologicals, and immunizations.
Degree Requirement:
Pharm.D. Degree
Must have Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
Experience:
Must complete a Board-approved Injectables Training program and provide proof of acceptable CPR certification.
Pharmacists must verify that they will maintain professional liability insurance coverage in the minimum amount of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence or claims made while their authorization to administer injectable medications, biologicals and immunizations is active.
