​State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators Guidance for Continuing Education Extension

On March 27, 2020, Governor Wolf granted a request from the Department of State allowing for a 90-day extension of certain license renewal deadlines that fall between April 30, 2020 and June 2020.  Licensees under the State Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators are included in this waiver because their renewals were due June 30, 2020.  Additionally, any associated regulations that establish these dates are temporarily suspended.  Therefore, as a result of the 90-day extension of the renewal date, any continuing education that may be due as a condition of renewal is, by implication, also extended for 90 days. The Nursing Home Administrator license renewal deadline, and completion of the required continuing education, will be extended from June 30, 2020, to Sept. 28, 2020.
