Online C.E. Waiver - Board Schedules

For the applicable boards, the terms of this waiver state that "effective January 1, 2021, licensees are permitted to renew their license attheirnextrenewalthatcomesafterJanuary 1, 2021, utilizing CE obtained through either traditional, in-person courses or by means of distance learning," meaning licensees could satisfy up to 100 percent of their CE requirements for that renewal with hours obtained online or via distance education.  Those boards/licensees, and their next renewal after 1/1/2021, are as follows:

Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors100% online CE accepted for renewal that ended on Feb. 28, 2021Starting 3/1/2021, for the renewal that will end on 2/28/2023, standard CE requirements are in effect (current regulations allow for up to 20 of the required 30 hours to be online).
Dentistry100% online CE accepted for renewal that ended on March 31, 2021Starting 4/1/2021, for the renewal that will end on 3/31/2023, standard CE requirements are in effect (current regulations allow for up to 50% online).
Landscape Architects100% online CE accepted for renewal that ended on May 31, 2021Starting 6/1/2021, for the renewal that will end on 5/31/2023, standard CE requirements are in effect (current regulations allow for up to 12 of the 24 required hours to be online).
Psychology100% online CE accepted for renewal that ends on Nov. 30, 2021Starting 12/1/2021, for the renewal that will end on 11/30/2023, standard CE requirements will be in effect (current regulations allow for up to 15 hours online).
Accountancy100% online CE accepted for renewal that ends on Dec. 31, 2021Starting 1/1/2022, for the renewal that will end on 12/31/2023, standard CE requirements will be in effect (current regulations allow for up to 40 of the required 80 hours to be online).
Optometry100% online CE accepted for renewal that ends on Nov. 30, 2022Starting 12/1/2022, for the renewal that will end on 11/30/2024, standard CE requirements will be in effect (current regulations allow for up to 15 of the required 30 hours to be online and at a minimum, 50% of continuing education credits must be obtained from attendance at live, in person courses and programs. The Board considers live virtual courses and programs with real-time synchronous video and audio communications as live, in person, continuing education).
Veterinary Medicine100% online CE accepted for renewal that ends on Nov. 30, 2022Starting 12/1/2022, for the renewal that will end on 11/30/2024, standard CE requirements will be in effect (current regulations allow for no more than 25% of the required hours to be online).
