Board Member Information
The State Board of Physical Therapy consists of the Commissioner of
Professional and Occupational Affairs, the Physician General of the
Commonwealth, two members representing the public, six physical therapists
licensed and who have been practicing physical therapy in this Commonwealth for
three years preceding their appointment, and one physical therapist assistant
currently registered with the Board. All professional and public members are
appointed by the Governor with the advise and consent of a majority of the
members elected to the Senate.
Licensure Inquiries for Consumers
Be aware that certain professionals must be licensed to practice in the
Commonwealth. Make sure the professionals who serve you are licensed and in good standing.
