Board Member Information

The State Board of Dentistry consists of the Secretary of Health, or his designee, the Director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection in the Office of the Attorney General, or his designee, the Commissioner of Professional and Occupational Affairs and ten additional members. (Seven licensed dentists, one licensed dental hygienist and two public members). All professional and public members are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of a majority of the members elected by the Senate. 
 
 

Licensure Inquiries for Consumers:

Be aware that certain professionals must be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth.
